Big Shot

3D Rendersby 101Leafy

Behavior
Armed with a cannonball, it hops around on the bouncy materials strapped beneath it.
It slams the cannonball into the ground, generating shock waves.
Habitat
Big Shots in the Splatlands aren't aggressive, but on the Spirhalite Islands, perhaps due to the influence of Spirhalite, they're on the offensive.
They became strong by lugging around those cannonballs, and they can hop quite nimbly.
Big Shots used to fire their cannonballs from special launchers, but the launchers are all rusted and broken now.
Parts from broken launchers are repurposed for use in the Big Shots' bouncy bases and other Salmonid machinery.
How to Defeat
Avoid shock waves by jumping over them.
It's easier to land attacks while the cannonball attack is winding up, so try to attack aggressively during that windup period.
Defeating it generates a shock wave that damages surrounding Salmonids.
