Flipper-Flopper

3D Rendersby 101Leafy

Behavior
They leap high into the air, breaching from the depths of the ink, and then quickly dive back in.
They emit a ring of ink when breaching, and then they dive into it to make a splash.
Habitat
Perhaps out of admiration for creatures that are said to have flourished in ancient times, they try to get closer to that form by wearing masks.
The masks, hastily sewn together from scraps of fabric, are misshapen but do show some attention to detail.
Their lights, removed from discarded items and reused, can give them a clear view even in bad weather.
When asked, they sometimes help other Salmonids by jumping over and over to cast light on beaches at night.
How to Defeat
When the inside of its ring is repainted with ink, the Flipper-Flopper crashes to the ground.
A Flipper-Flopper that has crashed will be unable to move for a short time, so attack it aggressively during that window.
It can still be damaged while it's exposed before it dives.
