Salmonids make automatic tracking devices out of scraps and bombs.

Small wheels underneath them make them maneuverable.

Their explosions boost the battlefield morale of other Salmonids.

It seems, in the past, they've also been equipped with fireworks instead of bombs to light up the night sky.

Defeat them quickly before they self-destruct.

When defeated, they explode, damaging nearby Salmonids.

If you can't defeat them quickly, at least stay out of range of their explosions.
